I know a lot of proverbs about money. My favorite is probably the Russian proverb that states, loosely translated, that “When money speaks, the truth remains silent”, which I’ve always liked. But perhaps the best observation about money that I’ve ever heard comes from a book by the English humorist Terry Pratchett.
